TWO CHILDREN INJURED

As the result, ol' an accident in a horse and trap, on Monday at Edgecumbe two school children, Gab- ? 7 rielle and Frederick Rouse aged 11 years and 8 years respectively received injuries which necessitated their removal to the Whakatane Public Hospital shortly after. The two children were driving in a horse and trap when the reins broke, and the taking fright, bolted. The conveyance careered on for some distance before it struck a post injuring both the occupants. Their condition is now reported to be satisfactory.
