ANNUAL MEETING HELD V The 15th annual meeting of the Whakatane branch of the League of Mothers was held in the. Presbyter* ian Hall on July 25'. Mrs Gartshore presided and read the .report of the year. The election of officers was then dealt Avith the post remaining as in tho previous year. Mrs Gartshore president; Mrs Sullivan Mrs A. Bridger and Mrs Gow viec-prcsi-dents; Mrs, Suckling treasurer; Mrs Craddock secretary and Mrs C. Good assistant secretary. ScA r eral new members, were appointed 011 the committee. Mrs Gartshore thanked the committee for their co-operation and appealed to all members to aim at increasing membership. Mrs Good sang tAvo very charming son Aviiich were greatly enjoyed by all present. Mrs How at read tAvo A r ery interesting article's on marriage and duties in the home. The. meeting Avas closed with the singing of the. National Anthem. .
