CATTLE DOG TRIALS
TE TEKO ANNUAL MEETING HORSE AND DOG EVENTS The Te Teko Annual Dog Trials were held recently in the Te Teko Domain the weather being extremely favourable for the feature. Thie entries in the dog events showed an increase on last year but the en-r tries in the horse events were well below the average. Mr C. McKenzie judged the dog events while Mr W. Sutt of Roto** rua judged the horse events. Following were.the. results:-— Dog Events, 2& entries: ,H. Sisam'9 'King' 54pts 1;- C. Eivers 'Roy' 49 pts 2; T> Garlick's 'IJlack' 42pts 3. Cups and Specials Club Cup:' Presented by F. W» Doidge, M.P. Won by H. Sisam. Dunderdale Memorial Cup: Won by H. Sisam. Cup for Maiden Dog: Presented by E. R. Hunt. Won. by H. Sisam. Drovers' Cup: Won by H. Pryor. Trophy: Presented by Mrs Jackson for committeeman's dog scoring most points.. Won by C. Eivers. Special: Novice with maiden dog. Presented by D. Allan. Won by B. Parakuka. , Special: For dog under best commend. Presented by C. Eivers. Won by T. Garlick. Special: For dog completing best Head and Pull. Presented by C. McBride. Won by C. Cleary and G; Eivers (tied). Special: For dog completing best Pull. Presented by Mrs T. B. Dunderdale. Won by E. R. Hunt. Special: for youngest competitor. Presented by H. Pryor. Won by Ted Eivers. Horse Events Maiden Jump: B. Knight 1; H. Sisam 2. Hunter Jump: A. Stewart 1; T. Eivers 2; J. Thompson. Stockwhip Competition: H. Sisam 1; D. Allan 2. Flag Race: H. Sisam 1; J. Haslam 2. Bending Competition: Ted Eivers 1; J. Haslam and D'. Allan (tied). Tilting the Ring: G. Fogerty 1; D. Allan 2. Stock Horse Event: J. Haslam 1; H. Sisam 2. Consolation Jump: T. Eivers 1; J. Thompson 2; R. Haslam 2. Children's Events Pony Jump: Sandy Eivers 1; Albert Rarini 2. Best Girl Rider: B. Haslam 1; M. Eivers 2. Best Boy Rider: Ted Eivers 1; Reg. Haslam 2. Weighlt Guessing Sheep: Live weight 1221b5. P. Gould and H. Macdonald tied. Turkey: Weight 191b 12}4ozs. Mrs Wakelin. 1. The competition for the. afternoontea set presented by Mrs T. B.
