RANGITAIKI LAND DRAINAGENOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY GENERAL RATES Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 11th July, 1944. NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act;, 1910, and I its amendments, to make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance costs for the period Ist April 1944. to 31st March, 1945 as described in the Schedule hereto. The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on the 30th day of August* 1944, together with the special rates already made and levied. The valuation roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of RateSj Chief Drainage Engineer's Office. Room 45, Government Buildings, Customs St. West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at. the office of the Land Drainage Engineer/at Thornton,, near Whakatane. at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business. SCHEDULE Class A. —On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the arbitrators appoint- * ed under Section 6of the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, twopence and seventyeight one hundredths of a penny (2.78 d) in the poundClass B.—On the unimproved value of all lands so clasified as Class B f one penny and eightysix one hundredths of a penny (1.86 d) in the pound.
