PONGAKAWA RABBIT BOARO NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY RATES Notice is hereby given that the Pongakawa Rabbit Board, pursuant to its powers under the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928,, and the Rating Act 1925, and their respective Amendments and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf,, intends at a special meeting, to be held in the Public Hall, Paengaroa s on Wednesday the 2nd August,. 1944, at 1 p.m. to make and levy for the. year ended 31st March 1945 the following differential, rates on the basis of the acreage of all rateable property in the said district, as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force for theJPonga'kawa Rabbit District. (a) In respect of the. original area comprising the Pongakawa Rabbit District which area is more particularly described in the N.Z. Gazette No. 35 of Ist April,, 1942, at page 943—a general rate of TWOPENCE (2d) per acre. (b) In respect of that portion of the Pongakawa Rabbit District as extended known as the Matata Riding, which area is more particularly described in the Minutes of the Board dated Wednesday, 26th day of April* 1944—a general rate of THREEPENCE (3d) per acre. (c) In respect of the residue of the Pongakawa Rabbit District as extended —a general rate of ONE PENNY (Id) per acre. The above rate is to be paid to A. H.
