SATURDAY'S NOVELTY MATCHES TWO CHALLENGE GAMES Saturday, July 22nd will be eagerly anticipated by those who enjoy a novelty afternoon's sport. In the Whakatane Domain the public will have the unique opportunity of witnessing and we hope, thoroughly enjoying a challenge/ 1 gaime of basketball between the local businessmen, and the high'-ecor-ing rep teams of the Whakatane Old Girls' Basketball Club. A full review of the form of the 'Andsome Samson's' will appear in Friday's issue. This game is scheduled to start at 1.30' p.m. At 3 p.m. the great clash between the Carriers (Hairy Fairies) and the Stock Agenfts (Hilly Billies) will take place.
