THAMES MAN'S PART FLEET AIR ARM PILOT Many Thames residents avc re recently interested to see a photograph of Sub-Lieutenant Andrew McLennan, of that toAvn, in a group of Fleet Air Arm pilots Avho took part in the attack on the German battleship Tirpitz as she lay at anchorage in a Norwegian fiord. Sub-Lieutenant McLennan, Avho is 24, is the son of Mrs N. McLennan, of Augustus Street, Pannvai, and attended the Thames High School. He went, away three and a half years ago, and had originally intended to join the Air Force, but transferred to the Fleet Air Arm.
