WHAKATANE ASSOCIATION The following are the results of the Knock-out Tournament played last Saturday:— Whakatane A defeated High School A 3 in the finals. Results of other matchcs played are as follows: — Wlia'katane A 10 Paroa 2; Whakatane A 17 High School B 1; Whakatane A 16 High School G 0; High School B 7 Whakatane Reserve 2; High School C 4 Te Teko B 0; Taneatua 10 Te'Teko A 0; High School A 7 Taneatua 4; High School A 4 Poroporo 2; High School A 4 Matata 3. Saturday's Draw The Association's round will commence on Saturday and the following matches will be 1 played:— 1.30 p.m: Whakatane A v Te Teko A,. Miss Reardon, Court. 1; Whakatane Reserves v Te Teko B, Miss Irvine, Court 2. 2 p.m: High School C v Poroporo Miss Harawira, Court 3. 2.10 p.m: Taneatua y Matata* Miss Lenz, Court 1; High School A v Paroa, Miss Burgess, Court 2; High School B a bye The following players will represent Whakatane: — Whakatane Reserve: N. Renyon, I. Sullivan, R. HoAvat, S. Cave, p. Jeff ares, P. Appleby, J. Bridger, M. Berg and J. Ching. Whakatane: P. Francis, P. Carter ! D. Stewart, H. Cave, N.WWestt t B. Menary, M. Robins, B. Armstrong, and I. Martin. Emergencies: B. Garliok, J. Wil-*-son, G. Harrison, J. Flay. An Association meeting will be held in the Borough Council Chambers to-night 16th June at 7.30 p.m.. Two delegates from each club are asked to attend. The complete draw for the first round will appear in next Tuesday's | issue.
