ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual general meeting of the Whakatane Basketball Association was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Friday, May 26. The following delegates Avere present: Mrs Macßride, Mrs White-ley (Te Teko); Mrs Moore, Miss limine (Poroporo); Miss Harawira, Miss Ngamanu (Paroa); Miss Dunslan, Mrs Tcrdman (Taneatua); Miss Lenz,' Miss Mead (High School): Miss Ilowut, I\Jiss Cave, Miss RearUon (Whakatane) . The election of officers, resulted as follows: President, Miss Lawes; Vice-presidents, Mrs Dunderdale, Mr Hubbard, Mr Cohu, Mr Haeusler; Secretary and Treasurer, Miss M. J. Rcadon; Assistant Secretary, Miss S. Cave; Selectors, Mrs Moore, Mrs Whitelcy. Miss Lawes, Miss Reardon. Owing to inclement Aveather on Saturday the. knock-out tournament. Avas cancelled and will be held on Saturday, June 10.
