"BLESS 'EM ALL" The following .skit oir the song "Bless 'em All" was-composed by the combined efforts of various poctk-al members of the Hospital stall and sung by Sisters Carlyle, Pettit and Bousfiekl accompanied by Miss Howat on the piano at the Xmas Cheer dance held in the Caledonian Hall a short time ago. 7,he following words go to the tunc ol the popular song upon which they ttrc based: — Bless us all, bless u.s all, The long and the short and the tall, Bless our dear Matron, the beile of the ball, Sec how she's made all the poor fellows fall, Oh she hai what it takes and some charm, Her smile all the chaps can disarm, But when she's gone home We'll come into our own. So cheer up my girls bless us all. Bless us all, bless us all, The long and the short and the tall, Bless Dr. Dawson, so merry and gay, With his "How are you lass and how are you to-day?" Cause lie's saying "Good-O, that's the stuff, It helps when the going is tough," He's not bad you can bet, He'll put up with us yet, So cheer up my girls bless us all. Bless us all, bless us all* The long and the short and the tall, Bless all the nurses in jackets of red, Bless all their patients just lying in bed, Crying "Give us a bottle please Nurse, This lying in bed is a curse," Oh they say how it bores us, Although they adore us, So cheer up my girls bless us all. Blesis us all, bless us all, The long and the short and the tall, Bless Alan Bridger who's not here to-night, Perhaps it's as well we're afraid he might bite But still he's bean good to us all So maybe he'll hear when we call, "Oh we want more wages But Ave'll wait for ages, So cheer up my girls bless us all. Bless vis all, bless us all, The long and the short and the tall, Bless the Board members, they're doing their best, Just leave them alone and let time do the rest. Oh they meet at. each meeting to fight, With plans that will never come right, Just hand them the beer, And they'll give you good cheer, So cheer up my girls bless us all. Epilogue (by the vocalists): — Nobody knows what twirps we are, So cheer up and God bless them all.
