PLUNKET SOCIETY

APRIL MEETING FAREWELL TO MRS CROZIER The monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held recently. Those present were Mesdames N. C. Cairns (President), K. Runciman, F. Darvill, L. Spring, Crozier, S. Shapley, C. Caisley, G. Timbs, H. Morgan G. Kingsley-Smith, P. Sisam, L. King, G. Daintain and R. Morpeth. Nurse Armstrong was authorised to represent the Whakatane branch |at the general conference of the Society to be held at Hamilton during May. At the. conclusion of the meeting Mrs Cairns made a presentation to Mrs Crozier on behalf of the members of the committee expressing their appreciation for the valuable assistance rendered by Mrs Crozier over a number of years. The committee is losing a popular and very willing worker. Mrs Croizer suitably replied thanking the committee and stating that she had always enjoyed her associations with the Society. A light supper was then served.
