AUTUMN CATTLE FAIR
j Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their Autumn Cattle Fair on Wednesday, April 19, when the advertised yarding of cattle came forward, and practically a total clearance was made under the hammer. Female cattle and beef sold particularly well, and the realisations for these cattle were equal to previous sales in the district. We. quote the following prices which were made at the sale: Fat bullocks to £11; prime fat cows £7 to £7 10s; prime fat heifers to £9 (55.; lighter cows £6 to £G 15s; 3% year steers to £9 ss; others £8 10s to £9 Is; 2Yz year steers £6 10s to £8 ss; 18 months steers £5 15s to £6 10s; 18 months heifers £4 10s; store cows to £4 17s; Hereford cows with calves at foot £G 12s 6d;. boner cows £3 to £4 "IDs; springing Jersey heifers to £9 54 1
