Pile and Mrs Burnett, of Opotiki, also the stewards and helpers who arranged the events. Robinson four sacks vegetables; P. Clark pig; Mrs F. Savage iced cake; Mr H. Bell 40 dozen pies and 25 gallons ice cream.
The results of the weight guessing were: Pig, 1611bs, winner Mr R. Grey with 1611bs 8ozs; sheep, l»6lbs, Mr A. G. Nell, 951bs 6ozs; poultry, 22Lbs, N. Menzies, S. J. Rowland and Mac Angus equal.
