R.S.A. DANCE
enjoyable evening
Despite the fact that the eustomery crowd did not attend the R.S.A. and Winter Show dance held on Friday evening at the Winter Show Buildings, it was, nevertheless, quite successful, there being plenty of room on the floor in which the } r oung folks could enjoy themselves.
Mrs King's band from Waimana supplied the music, Avhilst Mr 'Taffy' Atkinson officiated as M.C. in his own inimitable manner.
Among the novelty dances were a Monte Carlo, won by Mr Mexted and Miss Bryant, whilst the Lucky Gay Gordons, always a most, popular one, went to Mr B. Sullivan and Miss Bryant.
With Mrs Dallas in charge of the supper arrangements there was, at least, no one who went home lutngry, and the evening was most enjoyable throughout.
