Electrical Storm
Reputed by residents of Hillcrest to be the severest electrical storm seen for many a day, the brilliant 'flashes of forked lightning out over the sea attracted many out of doors on Sunday evening to witness the display. In .some cases, i residents stayed, watching till aftei > midnight, as the lightning torked and Hashed 011 the horizon in ;i man--1 ncr usually seen only in pictures. , Reports state- that tho lightning . gradually worked round the. sky till , it disappeared, and that at times , Whale Island was lit up as if floodlight.
