SATURDAY'S EVENT
The Edgecumbe Patriotic Gym-t khana Committee desires to notify all supporters and friends that* it has been decided to hold the. gym-» khana on Saturday next in spite of. difficulties created by the recent flood. lit has been found necessary to change the place, however and Mr G. R. Wilson has generously offered the use of his paddock, on the corner of McCracken's Road an<i Western Drain Road. All events, will bet held as arranged, and post entries will be accept-r ed for each event. It is confidently anticipated that the Rangitaiki river bridge at Edgecumbe will be open for traffic by March 4th. The committee has spared no trouble to carry the l whole Ihing through, in spite of great difficulty and inconvenience due to the flood, but trusts with the loyal support of the public., to make it the outstandr* ing .sports event of the season.
