NOW PROCEEDING APACE In a telegram to the Beacon yesterday, Mr F. W. Doidge, M.P., states: — Interviewd Hon. R. Seniple this morning. He informes me road connections between Taneatua andi Rotorua restored. After 27 hours continuous working bridge over river at Edgecumbe considered safe. Expected all highways' will be open for normal traffic about Wednesday. Now concentrating on railway washout at Edgecumbe. All l speed will' be employed on restoration.
