MARRIED WOMAN'S FATE

SEQUEL TO DROWNTXG

That Louisa May Adcock met her death by wandering unnoticed into the -Whakatane Harbour whilst in a state of epileptic coma and was accidentally drowned was- the finding of the cor toner at the inquest into the death of the second harbour Victim yesterday. Evidence of dcccased's husband, Frederick John Adcock, showed that at the time of her death she was 47 yejars ol' age, and had bean a semi-invalid for the past 10 years. She had been suffering from one of her peroidic epileptic, turns a few days before licr disappearance and, witness had been most anxious .for licr well-being. He had left her about 11.15 p.m. on the night of Thursday 17th February after being in attendance on her and -had missed her at (5 next morning. He added that though deceased had suffered from epilepsy she had never beeomc morbid or threatened to take licr lil'e. Constable Thomassen gave evidence as to the discovery of bare footprints leading down to the waters edge and also as to the finding of the body later. The finding was as above.
