SATURDAY'S GYMKHANA

A. AND P. ASSN'S HORSE SHOW

The gymkhana season opens on Saturday next (February 19) with the grand' Horse Show and Gymkhana staged in: the Whakatane Show Grounds by the Agricultural and Pastoral Association. All arrangements are now completed and we understand that record entries are coming forward for all the major events. The Rangitaiki Plains' has during the past few years become the recognised home of many fine horse studs and as a result the periodic gymkhanas and displays have been hailed as being amongst the finest country exhibitions in the Dominion.

Saturday s'hould be no exception and those who enjoy equestrian events coupled with a showing of horse flesh which will include the finest from the Bay should make a point of attending.
