MISS RUBY HOWAT

A very enjoyable evening was spent by all in dancing and ;!araes at the Parish' Hall on Friday even-: ing at a party provided by Mr and Mrs Howat of Bridge Street, on the occasion of the coming of nge of their daughter Ruby. Mr Mo Kenzie proposed thb toast wishing Miss Howat all good luck during the coming years and presented her with the proverbial golden key, which had previously been signed by all present. Miss Howat replied suitably to the toast. The highlight of the evening was an exhibition of. conjuring given by Mr J. Rust. Music; was provided by Mr J. Jones with the amplifier and equipment of the "Melody Makers with interludes on the. piano and piano accordion.
