A WORTHY EXAMPLE
THE unanimous decision of the Borough Council to support in a practical manner the projected construction of a St. John Ambulance Hall in Whakatane, is an example well worthy of emulation and we trust with so much general recognition of the splendid work of this organisation that there will be many other local bodies and individuals who will follow suit and help forward this group of workers whose keynote efficiency and whose slogan is—service. We understand that subscription lists will soon be made available and have no fear but that the objective will be fully met and even over-subscribed.
