WEARING OF UNIFORM At the monthly sitting of. the Opoti'ki Police Court Lsaac Komene was charged that on. December 15 at Opotiki he wore, military uni-. form, to wit, hat and trousers. Defendant elected to be dealt with summarily and pleaded guilty. Sergeant Isbister said' that defendant was not on Home Guard duty at the time and had been previously warned. • 'Defendant was convicted and fined £2 With 25s costs. Fred Tai. faced a similar charge, the article worn being a great coat. Defendant elected to be dealt wrth summarily, pleading guilty. Sergeant Isbister said that defendant had not previously been warn-, cd. A fine of £1 with 24s costs was imposed.
