Many letters of thanks from the soldier recipients of parcels have been received —the. one following being tj'pical:-— From Pte F. A. Anderson, Middle Fast Forces. It is with great pleasure that I write these few lines of thanks ill appreciation of your message of goodwill which I was fortunate enough to receive in an Edgecuntbe? parcel packed hy your committee of Patriotic workers'. Few people realise the wonderful' work that committees such as yours are doing for the but chaps such as myself fully appreciate the great job of. work and line effort you are making to make our lives more bearable. The parcels donated by the Edgecuinbc Committee have definitely surpassed iiny other Patriotic issue Ave have had. not only in the selection of the contents but also> in the packing of tliem. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The razor blades, and tooth paste were specially welcome as they are. both ration-: ed—when obtainable. Once again thanking you and trusting this finds you in good health. Letters such as: these are a great pleasure 1 for the committee, to receive and repay the workers for the long hours of work entailed.
