HEAVY DECLINE UN LAMB
■In the iirst repart of export killings at New Zealand freezing \vorks this seasaon, issued by the New Zealand Meat Producers Board* the handicap Qf the: dry climatic conditions is evident. The official; figures cover the period from the opening of the works till Ist January, and show that this season's export lamb production compared with the corresponding period ol' last season has declined to the extent of 760,906 carcase's. Details of lamb and mutton killings, with those of the previous season in parencheses, are as follows: — North Island!
