FAMILY GROUPS PRKDOMINATE
The holiday population of Ohope has this year exceeded 1 all previous war vacations & every available camping site is utilised. Visitors are present from as far south as Chi'istchurch, while all the principal towns: in the North Island arc represented.
The idea! weather has combined to give. the* visitors a taste, of Ohope at its best, and a prominent Wellingtonian. in eon versa t ion with a Beacon representative, stated: emphatically that this was "without exception the finest Christmas break lie. and his family had spent any-" where, it is. again a pleasing feature to note' that, most of the holiday makers are made, up of family groups from inland towns, where the. parents have saved up during the year for the purpose 1 hf giving the children and themselves a break of the seaside.
