DISTRICT AERODROME

AS we approach the close of the year it is well to survey the prospects of the formation of a district aerodrome, and in doing so to express considerable disappointment at the report received by the Borough Council following the recent inspection of sites by officers of the Air Department and the P.W.D.- Instead of assisting with the choice of locality the only official intimation to hand is therefore; an invitation to form an Air Board. No helpful advice with regard to location whatsoever! The main point at issue appears to have been studiously forgotten in an effort to combine the interests of town and country representatives.
