PERFORMING SEALS

THE INFANTS ENTERTAIN

A PARENT'S IMPRESSIONS

(Contributed)

Scene one opens with the tiny tots discarding dresses and skirls in

double quick time on the side line

and then in the freedom of shorts and bloomtrs jukl. singlets diving into the centre of the grounds. Most of the human 'planes made pancake landings, but gathered up their undercarriages and proceeded to do their stiill'.

Primer 1 are now transformed into a menagerie of cats, bunnies and frogs. There'they go leaping, bounding or stealthily moving along the ground in a manner that makestheir proud, mamas, gurgle with light.

Primers 2, 'A and 4 follow suit, with troop jumping, skipping and snakc.jumping over wiggled ropes. Now come the Band-roomers with another box of tricks to show.

All in all Ave mothers thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon, particularly the tea and we have our own gloria fied opinion as to how the. nippers enjoyed the ice creams, inisons and peanuts doled out to them, by Nurse Buddie and her assistants.-

We congratulate Miss Ta'it and her assistants on the training they have given the children and also on the fine display of work put up by the pupils and exhibited in the classrooms. We. loved the lanterns and the sack work.

(The above was handed in by one of the' aforementioned fond mamas who attended the recent infant children's breaking up day held at the' Parish Hall„ Wliakatane.)
