Tea, sugar and butter coupons for the four weeks commcncmg last Tuesday are released as follows the Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, announced.
Tea coupons f> to 8 inclusive,, available for a total of eight ounces ol tea during the period to December 2(5. Special coupon Y3 is available for eight ounces of tea any time during December and January.
Sugar: Coupons o to 8, inclusive, available for a total of three pounds to December 2(5. Special coupon Y2 is available for three pounds up to the end. of December.
Butter: * £ A" coupon, 5 and (5, each available for eight ounces during the fortnight ending December 12. Coupons 7 and 8 are available for the fortnight ending December 2(i.
The release of. extra tea and sugar has been made, possible through, the. Improvement that has taken place in the stock position in recent montlis, Mr Thomas said.
Owing to continued shortage of pig meals, the period, of prohibition on the retail sale of pork lu)s been extended to March next,, the Rationing Controller announced.
