Details of coupons to be available Tor the purchase of clothing, avool :and household, linen from Dcccm-j ber 1 and the following six-months period, were given by the Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas. The basis of release of. 2G coupons -each half-year will be maintained,, j but this time the coupons arc divided into three sections, as follows:— Clothing Coupons: The blue cou-« pon Nos. 1 to 20' marked "clothing ■coupon" or ''infant clothing" on sheet 10 of the third series ration book are. available for the purchase of all clothing and household linen, including baby linen but not for any type of. wook Wool: The blue coupons Nos; 1 to 3 marked "wool coupons" or "infant wool" on the same sheet of the ration books, are available for the. purchase of both wool (other than baby wool) and ' clothing. Household Linen: The red house* liold linen coupons Nos. 1 to 3 on sheet 11 of the ration book arc available for the purchase of household linen only, and. may not be. used fo,r either wool or clothing. People' living in hotels and boarding-houses •where linen is provided will surrender household linen coupons Nos. 1 to 3 to the proprietor before the. -end of December.
