LOCAL BODY SERVICE

TUAPEKA COUNTY RECORD TWO COUNCILLORS HONOURED Says the Board and Council magazine of November:As a tribute to the. long service each lias given the Tuapeka County Council as members, Messrs. J. Bennetts and JI. G. Cotton, were entertained. at a dinner arranged by tlic council and attended by a large gathering of representatives of local and public bodies. Mr Bennetts has been an active member of the council for 11 years and Mr Cotton for 32 years, records of which both have, reason to be proud. We wonder how these two records compare with the long period of consistent representation put up by Cr F. Burt on the Wha'katane County Council.
