bay of plenty association The annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Branch of the Trained Nurses Association, was held on November 27. The president reported the following contributions during the year: Nurses. Memorial Fund £10 10s; Xmas Cheer Middle East Nurses £5 ss; Enter ta. i nment Committee for. Visiting Nurses £5 ss; Pacific Nurses £10, the latter being raised at a garden party held at the residence of Mrs F. Pridcaux. The retiring president, Mrs F. Sumner, was presented with a bouquet, accompanied by musical honours. Mrs Sumner has been a member of the Council for 10 years and six times president, and would not accept re-election. Mrs Dewar, secretary, also retired and was aceoided a hearty vote of thanks for her services. The following members were elected to the council: Miss Runeiman (president), Misses Lenilian and Gillespie (vice-presidents), Miss Armstrong (secretary and treasurer), Mesdamcs Pridcaux, Fletcher Cole-, Hawken, Morice, Hutton, Le Lievre, Misses Harding, Gill and Mackay. Mr Warren lion, auditor, wa.s accorded a vote of thanks.
