SKIPPER FRANCIS CAMPAIGN
TO-DAY residents should note that Skipper Francis, who has undertaken the self-imposed task of collecting in the interests of the cripples and the afflicted is bringing the cause of the infirm generally to the passing Whakatane public. Himself an incurable cripple his motto is 'Down but not out' and he claims that he draws endless pleasure and enjoyment from collecting funds on behalf of those vho like himself are the slaves of misfortune and pain.
