On Saturday next the Pom 111ion Chief Scout Commissioner. Mr Hector Christie, together with Sir James Grose, Dominion President and Sir Joseph Smith, Commissioner of the Auckland Metropolitan area, will visit Whakatane in the course of their

Dominion tour.

Arrangements have boon made: for these distinguished visitors to meet businessmen and district Scouters at an informal gathering in the' upstairs lounge of the Whakatane Hotel at 10.30 p.m. The Dominion Commissioner has expressed an earnest desire to meet as many businessmen as- possible, and it is therefore hoped that Whakatane will do the honours and that, those who are interested in this important movement '"will make the half hour required available.
