Three, hearty cheers Avere also given for the ladies for the sumptuoUs afternoon tea. After this the function closed, with the various winners,, happy with their toys, and the non-winners, happy with the happy ones. The. usual toasts were honoured time and and the 194.3 season of the Whakatane Golf. Club was thus brought to a very happy ending indeed.
