A DETESTABLE INDIVIDUAL

THE anonymous letter writer is at his nefarious work again. A sample of his underhand activities was submitted to this office yesterday, when a weakly constructed missive, set out in red and blue ink, sought to victimise a certain man of this town. The whole effort was so obviously weak that it could only be construed as the emanation of a defective brain or an under-developed intellect. Whatever the cause the threat was so transparently childish, and utterly stupid that the reader could have little but sympathy for the individual suffering from such-low-browed mentality. However the fact remains that this poisonous person does exist and is living undetected in our midst. A great public service would be accomplished if he could be located and hounded from the town as he so richly deserves.
