ANNUAL TENNIS CLUB MEETING
The annual meeting of the Waimana Tennis Club was held recently. The report and balance sheet •were presented and adopted. The following officers were elected for the 1943 season: Patron, Mr E. P. Woolfield; president, Mr T. W. Wardlaw, re-elected; vice-presidents, Mr R. Morton and Mr G. Kirkbride; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr M. King; club captain, Mrs M. King; committee, Mrs King, Mrs Hewitt, Mrs J. U. "Ward I aw, Miss M. Wardlaw, Messrs G. and N. Gallagher, D. Grover ami president and secretary. The. subscriptions are to be the same as last season. with a rebate if paid before December 1. The opening day was arranged for Saturday],, October 30 at 1 o'clock. AH members and intending members and persons interested are invited tc attend.
