ALL "PARTIES" IMPLICATED
Sir,, —Our elections arc now over and \vc have returned one party in favour as against the other but neither would or do represent the people. It is time that the farming community realised that they have no real representative in Government, much less than any other member of the community. Whilst praising the farmer for the job of work he is doing, this, party is laying a pitfall for him. Having created a muddle on the food front, takt ing control of production, and proceeding to socialise it (the business men are in the same position' as the farmers), the very men they think are representing them are supporting the financial system that is paving the way for their elimination. The attack on the right of sovereignty of Government by the people, is delivered through the Loans Council which, dictates the. financial policy to all party Premiers, but we are not told that the loans council dominated by the Trading Banks which are starving the country under economic finance in quite an orthodox manner. This, is what the. businessmen and the farmers should' learn to understand,, that the ground is being prepared for an economic dictatorship, and it should be clear to the most casual observer. The future of this country lies with us people as to Avhether they will accept economic servitude, or demand the right to rule. The peoples voice can do more than all the elections! Tell your member what you want, and see you get it. Yours etc., W. BRADSHAW.
