REGENT Bing Crosby,, who appears in the title role in Paramount'* "The Star Maker," Avhich opens on Tluir.stl.ay at the Regent Theatre, claims to be the laziest man in Hollywood. But his record is against, him. T,i\ the past nine years, Bing lias appeared in more than a score of pictures, made hundreds of recordings, and in one hectic period appeared five times daily on the stage of New York's Paramount Theatre, 'sandwiching in two night radio programmes. Remember "Henry VIM," "Quiet Wedding," "49th Parallel," "One. of our Aircraft is Missing," and those other British films that established a new high standard, in production? The men avlio made them have turned out another first class feature film in "Mr Davis," an officially approved story about the spying and counter-spying incidental to a British raid on a German submarine base in occupied France. The Regent Theatre will give audiences a unique opportunity when "Mr Davis"' is released there on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday next..
