The strong man was explaining liis act to a vaudeville agent. "I place a heavy stone on my head," lie asserted, "anil then my assistant picks up a K>lb sledgehammer, swings it with all his might —cracks the stone in half." The agent grew dizzy at the very thought. '"That's marvellous." he enthused. "But how about your head—-d.on'i. 3 T ou ever feel it?" The strong man waved a 'hand. "Yes," he admitted. "That's why I sometimes carry headache powf dcrs."
