DIXON—BENNETT

The PrcnCathedral Church of St. Paul's, AVcllington, was the scene of the wedding on October sth, 1943, of Kathleen June, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs L. G* Bennett, Soutars Avenue, Whakatane, to Lcs Artice Dixon, Private First Class United States Marine Corps, son of Mr and Mrs Louis Dixon, of Pritchard. Alabama. Chaplain W. W. Lumpkin of U.S.B.C. officiated. The bride who was given away by a friend, Chaplain Gordon V. Tollcfson of the U.S. Marine Corps, wore a very pretty grey frock embroidered in pink. She was attended by her sister, Miss Dawn Bennett, while Sgt Charles H. Howard Avas best man. After the wedding the bride and groom Avere the guests, of Canon and Mrs Davies of Wellington.
