NUKUHOU NORTH
SUCCESSFUL DANCE
A most successful dance was held in the Nukuhou North school recently. The function -was, in aid of school funds. The sum of £7 was taken at the door and £3 10.s otn )a competition. Mrs November provided the dance music and Mr F. Sterling acted as M.C. and Mr G. Sne.U was doorkeeper. The novelty dances proved most popular, the Statue Waltz was Avon by Mrs C. Kobinson and partner. A pig was gi\ r en by Mr S. Mottram for competition and was 1 won by Mr X. Mcnzies. A much enjoyed supper was served, and dancing continued until a late hour, when the National Anthem closed the function.
