DRAMA FESTIVAL PLAYS ASSISTING PLUNIvET WORK A happy thought has occurred to those who took part in the recent rsucce.ssful Drama Festival staged at Edgecumbc last week in the interests of the Federation of Women's Institutes for the Eastern Bay. This is the decision to re-stage the four winning plays as a benefit for the local Plunkct Society. The concert will be held in the -Grand Theatre, Whakatane, on Wedaiesday evening next and. will constitute, with tip top, vocal and other item, interspersed one of the finest 2/ight's entertainment seen in this town for many a month. AH who enjoy lir.st class acting ■end also desire to support a most deserving cause should make a point •of attending.
