NUISANCE AT HEADS

Sir—The Harbour Board liavc agreed to remove dead beasts on the waterfront if the Borough Council pays fhe cost. Surely there is. something wrong here —these beasts arc stranded on the waterfront and arc therefore definitely in the area under the Harbour Board's control. It would seem that the members of the Board were a bit touchy over being asked to do .something they should have already done. If the Health Inspector will have just one sniff of that red pig half way to the Heads he will order the Harbour Board to remove it, not the Borough Council. Yours etc,, OVERRIPE.
