Prolific Dairy Cow

A dairy cow owned by Mr W. H. Muir, Waterton, Ashburton, last week produced her twelfth calf in less than eight years. I!n her second year she had a single calf, in her third and fourth years she produced two sets of twins, followed by an-' other single calf in her fifth year. In the last three years she has had three sets of twins.
