SERIES COMPLETED

Mr W. Sullivan, M.P., has completed -Ills series of meetings on the East Coast. Addresses were given at Whangara, Tolaga Bay, Anaura Bay, Tc Puia, Tokomaru Bay, Tiki tiki and Ruatoria.. In every ease, the attendance was excellent. Among the points dealt with by Mr Sullivan, were: the. land settlement legislation, the Internal Marketing Department., the system ol' licensing, taxation and the National Party's policy generally. At tlie Te Puia meeting, at which Mr R. V. Gully presided, and at Anaura, the candidate dealt with the land settlement legislation, and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks at each. At Tokomaru Bay lie dealt with the Internal Marketing Department, the system of licensing, taxation and the. National Party's policy generally. Many questions were asked by men employed at the freezing works, and the meeting concluded with cheers being given for the candidate.
