ENCOURAGING MEETINGS

AT OPOTLKI LAST KVKXIXC,

Working his way up the coast in the course of his. electoral campaign Mr W. SulliA'an, sitting member and National Party candidate for the Bay of Plenty, has been experiencing encouraging meetings at Otoko, Motu and MataAvai.

Last night to a crowded audience in the Regent Theatre, Opotiki, Mr Sulli\*an gave a forceful exposition of National's policy and Avas accorded an attentive hearing Avhich culminated in a Aote. of thanks and confidence being passed by an overwhelming majority. The meeting broke up Avitli cheers and musical honours for the candidate'.

He Avill speak in the Regent Theatre, Whakatane, this evening in the final address of the campaign.
