ST. JOHN ASSOCIATION

NEW SECRETARY ELECTED

A meeting o[ the St.| John Ambulance Association was, held on Thursday,» Sept ember J(J when Mr Roy Hill's resignation as secretary was received with regret, having been transferred to Auckland.

Air A. J. Canning, chairman, eulogised the services rendered by MiHill to the association also to the brigade, and stated that it was a great loss to both organisations. Members of the association and brigade subscribed to a present, and as lie had. left, it wasi decided to send the money to him to purchase a suitable gift as a memento of his association with both bodies. Mr E. R. Dillicar was appointed secretary in Mr Hill's* place. Mr Canning then presented medallions to Messrs D. Scragg, H. D. Paterson, H. Drubc and H.. Litchwar'k.
