All members please note, that owing to the lateness .of the season, there, will bo onlv two qualifying rounds for the different championships. Those players, who through unforscen circumstance*, were not iible to take part in the first qualifying round, may complete the two qualifying rounds this coming week-end. Luxton <87—18—(J!), Symc 87—IS ■—09, Henderson 82 —12—70, Burstail 98—28.—70. Fortune Cup In the final for the Fortune Cup, Henderson who had to concede S strokes, lost to 13. Luxton 4 and 3. The winner is one of the longest drivers in the club, and has won a number of. other e.vcnts during the season. He began the season from the 2-1 mark and has reduced gradually and now wil-l play olf 15. He is a much improved player, and plays with the abandon of youth. He will be a tough proposition with more experience. Draw In conjunction with next Saturday's event, will be played the com-: petition for the Veterans and the Colts trophies. This has come about because there, ivill be only three more playing Saturdays before the Labour week-end tournament, with September 25 being an open day, on accopnt ol' the elections. The. ago for the Veterans group is 45 upwards, and for the Colts under 45 years. The decision being mad.e on. the best, nett medal in each section.
