THE COMMEMORATION SERVICE
Sir,—Although the above service was most inspiring—the three officiating clergymen giving the audience much matter for devout reflection—all present would have been pleased, had they been able to read the hymn sheets. The theatre was. almost in darkness. A great many remarked that they appreciated the little organ for the accompanying, however. On Anzac Day services, we are given a brass band for the accompanying of hymns. The band i.s very much appreciated in its instrumental items, but the words, of vocal music are the most important, and men like to join in the singing of the hymns. Yours etc., JOHN CITIZEN.
