Upon his return to the Dominiort lie. left immediately for the Boer War, returned again at. its conclusion and .served farming apprenticeship on several of the big stations in both North and South Jisland.s. He joined the New Zealand Relrigcrating Co. in Ghristchurch and Avas with them until outbreak of the. Avorhl Avar. He was gassed and invalided home after Passcaendale and took up farm- : 'ng in the K.ing Country, retiring. | to Tauranga after 15 years. He has been a member of the Farmers' Union for 20 years, i.s secretary oL the Tauranga Branch, and was two years on the Auckland. Provincial Executive. Mr Angus is also a member of A r arious local committees.
